These Terms and Rules apply to your use of this website, including the forum, posts, profiles, private messages, reviews, resources, comments, ratings, attachments, and any other content or features made available through the site.
By accessing, registering for, posting on, submitting content to, or otherwise using the site, you agree to follow these Terms and Rules. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
The site is an independent, community-run website operated on a hobby/community basis. It is not a law firm, immigration adviser, legal marketplace, government agency, official authority, or professional services provider.
Content on the site is provided for general discussion and informational purposes only. Nothing on the site should be treated as legal, immigration, tax, financial, investment, professional, or official government advice. You are responsible for verifying information before relying on it, especially for passport, citizenship, residency, immigration, lawyer, or government-related matters.
You must be at least 13 years old to register or use account-based features. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate enough for ordinary forum use and that you will not impersonate another person, business, law firm, government agency, or organization.
You are responsible for your account, password, posts, messages, reviews, ratings, and all activity under your account. We may suspend, restrict, or close accounts at our discretion, with or without notice.
Most content on the site is user-generated. User-generated content expresses the views of the person who posted it, not the views of the site, its operator, moderators, administrators, or other users.
You are solely responsible for the content you submit. By submitting content, you confirm that you have the right to submit it and that it does not violate these Terms and Rules, any applicable law, or the rights of another person or organization.
You agree not to post content that is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harassing, hateful, discriminatory, obscene, misleading, fraudulent, spam-like, malicious, privacy-invasive, or otherwise unsuitable for the site.
You also agree not to post or promote fake passports, forged documents, fraudulent visas, unlawful immigration services, document fraud, identity fraud, bribery, evasion of government rules, or instructions for illegal activity.
Do not post private, confidential, privileged, or sensitive information unless you are fully responsible for doing so. This includes passport details, identity documents, case files, client files, legal correspondence, addresses, phone numbers, financial details, login credentials, government reference numbers, or personal data about another person.
We may remove, redact, or edit content that appears to contain sensitive information, but we are not required to monitor all content before it appears.
This section is important. Lawyer reviews and law firm reviews can affect reputations, businesses, and public trust. For that reason, review content is subject to stricter rules than ordinary forum discussion.
To submit a lawyer review or law firm review, a member account must have at least 10 genuine forum comments and must be at least 1 month old from the date of registration. Both conditions must be satisfied before a review may be posted, approved, displayed, or counted.
For this purpose, “genuine forum comments” means real, relevant, good-faith contributions to ordinary forum discussions. Low-quality, duplicate, spam-like, promotional, copied, artificial, filler, deleted, hidden, or review-unlocking comments may not count toward this requirement. We reserve the right to decide whether comments are genuine and whether an account qualifies to submit reviews.
By submitting a lawyer review, law firm review, rating, comment, or related post, you confirm that:
Reviews should describe specific facts where possible: what service was requested, when the interaction happened, what was promised, what was delivered, what was not delivered, what communication occurred, and what the outcome was. Reviews based only on rumors, hearsay, personal hostility, or unsupported accusations may be removed.
We reserve the right to verify the legitimacy of lawyer reviews and law firm reviews in all cases. This applies to positive reviews, negative reviews, neutral reviews, ratings, comments, updates, replies, and review-related forum posts.
Verification may include, at our discretion, asking the reviewer, the reviewed lawyer or law firm, or another relevant party for information. We may also consider public information, account history, posting patterns, technical signals, duplicate-account indicators, timestamps, IP or device-related signals, communication records, invoices, engagement letters, receipts, screenshots, case references, correspondence, or other evidence that helps us decide whether a review appears legitimate.
We may ask for supporting materials privately. If you provide materials, you should redact sensitive personal, privileged, confidential, or legally protected information unless you accept the responsibility for sharing it. We are not required to publish verification materials or explain our full verification process.
If a reviewer does not respond to a verification request, provides insufficient support, appears to be using fake or duplicate accounts, appears to have a conflict of interest, or otherwise fails our review checks, we may remove, hide, limit, downgrade, merge, edit, or leave unpublished the review or rating.
We have the final say over what reviews stay, what reviews are removed, what ratings count, what content is edited, and what content appears on the site. Our decision is final, even if a reviewer, lawyer, law firm, business, user, or third party disagrees.
Publication of a review does not mean we have verified it. Removal of a review does not mean the review was false. Keeping a review online does not mean we endorse it. A rating, ranking, category placement, listing, resource page, or review count is not a recommendation, certification, or guarantee.
A lawyer, law firm, representative, or affected party may report a review and provide a clear explanation of the disputed issue. A useful report should identify the exact review, the specific statement being disputed, the reason it is inaccurate or inappropriate, and any supporting material.
We may allow a response, request more information, temporarily hide the review, edit the review, remove the review, leave the review unchanged, or take no action. We may also close the matter without further correspondence.
We do not remove reviews simply because they are negative, uncomfortable, inconvenient, or damaging. We also do not keep reviews online simply because they are popular, detailed, or strongly worded. We decide case by case.
We do not act as a court, regulator, bar association, arbitrator, mediator, investigator, or debt collector. We do not decide whether a lawyer committed malpractice, breached professional rules, committed fraud, or violated any law. We only decide what content is allowed to remain on this site.
Legal threats, aggressive demands, mass complaints, reputation-management pressure, or payment offers do not guarantee removal or modification of content. Donations, sponsorships, advertising, or other support for the site do not purchase favorable moderation, review removal, endorsement, ranking, or protection from criticism.
We may review, edit, move, merge, lock, hide, delete, restore, approve, reject, or otherwise moderate any account, post, review, rating, message, resource, profile, attachment, or other content at any time, with or without notice.
We may moderate content for any reasonable reason, including quality, relevance, duplication, spam prevention, legal risk, privacy, safety, suspected manipulation, technical issues, formatting, category accuracy, or the overall usefulness of the site.
We are not required to provide an explanation for moderation decisions. We may apply rules differently depending on context, history, risk, available information, and the needs of the community.
You agree not to use the site to:
The site may contain errors, outdated information, incomplete information, missing posts, incorrect dates, duplicate content, broken links, imported content, automated content, user mistakes, or technical discrepancies. Content may be changed, removed, lost, restored, reorganized, or become unavailable.
We do not guarantee that the site will be accurate, complete, current, secure, uninterrupted, or error-free. You use the site at your own risk.

A listing, review page, resource entry, advertisement, donation, sponsorship, or link does not mean that we endorse, verify, recommend, or guarantee the person, law firm, business, service, or website mentioned.
You keep whatever rights you legally own in the content you submit. By submitting content to the site, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, permanent, irrevocable license to use, host, store, copy, display, publish, edit, format, excerpt, distribute, index, archive, and republish that content in connection with the site and related site functions.
This license continues even if you later delete your account or stop using the site, unless we decide otherwise. We may remove content at our discretion, but we are not required to delete all historical posts or reviews on request.
The site may use cookies, logs, analytics, spam-prevention tools, security tools, and verification-related information to operate the site, keep users logged in, reduce abuse, investigate misuse, and manage content. A separate privacy policy or cookie notice may provide more detail where available.
Content submitted to the site may be reviewed by staff or technical systems and may be processed by third-party services used for hosting, security, spam prevention, moderation, verification, analytics, backups, or site operation.
The site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any implied warranties.
We are not responsible for losses, disputes, decisions, expenses, damages, reputational harm, business harm, legal consequences, immigration consequences, or other issues arising from your use of the site, reliance on content, interaction with users, interaction with reviewed parties, or use of third-party services.
You agree to be responsible for claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses that arise from your content, your conduct, your account, your reviews, your misuse of the site, or your violation of these Terms and Rules.
We may update these Terms and Rules at any time. Changes may be made with or without notice. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms and Rules.
If you wish to close your account, use the contact method available on the site. Account closure does not automatically require deletion of posts, reviews, ratings, quotes, messages, logs, backups, moderation records, or content already published or used by the site.
Use common sense, act in good faith, and do not abuse the site. We reserve the right to make final decisions about access, accounts, content, reviews, ratings, listings, moderation, and the overall operation of the site.
