Historically, this shift was inevitable once smartphones and social platforms became widespread. The real issue is not whether it is good or bad, but how verification standards are applied. Facts still matter, regardless of who reports them.

Honestly, I think it depends. Some citizen journalists do a better job than professionals, especially during protests or disasters. But yeah, sometimes it feels like rumors spread faster than facts. Maybe that is just the price of speed.

ppl forget media ALSO LIES alot lol, so why we act like citizen journ is worse?? some vids r REAL proof, even if spellings bad or info messy, its STILL showing truth SOMETIMES!!
