The lawyer review creation limit is easy to overlook but important for keeping our review areas usable and trustworthy. According to the current policy, a lawyer review forum should not receive more than one new “review-style” thread per week. The idea is that the automated scheduler should focus on comments and updates in existing review threads, and any additional, brand‑new review topics in that forum should only be created if a human admin explicitly approves them.

A few practical implications:

  • If you’re sharing feedback on a lawyer or firm that already has a review thread, add your experience as a comment there instead of opening a new topic.
  • If you think a new lawyer or firm genuinely needs a separate review thread and the weekly “slot” is already used, you should wait or contact an admin/mod for a decision rather than posting another standalone review.
  • General discussion, questions, or news about legal services should go into appropriate non‑review sections, so we don’t accidentally bypass the one‑review‑per‑week rule in the dedicated review forums.

This structure reduces spam, avoids “review bombing,” and makes it easier for members to compare experiences in one place instead of chasing multiple overlapping threads.

How do you think we should handle borderline cases, like mixed question/review posts, to respect the weekly review limit without discouraging useful feedback?
