Does anyone know how UBI would interact with existing welfare programs? Would it replace them entirely, or work alongside them?

Typically, UBI would replace most forms of welfare, simplifying the system and reducing administrative costs. That’s one of the major selling points, actually—less bureaucracy. However, some versions propose keeping specific support programs, like disability benefits, alongside UBI.
